Ganja, as cannabis is called in Jamaica, has inspired culture and music for generations. For physical, mental, and spiritual benefits, ganja is a mystical healing plant.
The cannabis industry still significantly lacks diversity, which is a significant concern in the nascent industry, particularly in the context of the historical inequities of cannabis prohibition and law enforcement. Therefore, we are proud diverse ownership of Black Caribbean Americans and the next generation of young black female entrepreneurs. The Green Apple is devoted to making a difference in this emerging industry, from a diverse workforce and the good deeds we do to help the local community.

The Green Apple Cannabis mission is to bring safe, legal, and tested cannabis products to consumers. The Green Apple Cannabis Management Team are skilled operators with years of experience cultivating, manufacturing, and retailing cannabis products.

We have a strong track record of giving back to the community—donations to non-profits invested in substance abuse prevention, mental health, and domestic abuse. We also support the community by donating to local scholarship funds.
Education
Our core mission is to educate the public on consuming cannabis safely; an educated consumer makes wise decisions keeping themselves and others safe. Because of the long history of cannabis prohibition and criminalization, we feel a strong dedication to educating customers explaining cannabinoids, consumption methods, product types, storage, responsibility, and safety.
Tax Revenue
Cannabis products will be subject to a 13% tax in New York state, 9% of which will be directed to state coffers and 4% to localities. Tax revenue from marijuana sales will also go to a community reinvestment fund, support the state’s public schools and fund drug treatment facilities and public education programs.
Public Health and Safety
All cannabis products are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contaminants, such as pesticides and safe for inhalation or consumption. Products are carefully labeled with the THC and CBD information. This helps you to make wise choices about what you are consuming. Your purchase is always packaged in sealed child-safe packaging, and we suggest storage methods to keep products out of reach of children and pets.
Security & Compliance
Retail cannabis stores, cultivation, and product manufacturing facilities adhere to the highest level of security. The Green Apple's state-of-the-art security system includes stringent access control, video surveillance, and on-site security guards. The Green Apple's staff is experienced with working with the exacting demands of regulators such as NY's Office of Cannabis Management.
